Which is why Anno 2070 was the last game i ever bought on UPLAY. LOL, Well I have the hard copy and I also have the steam copy. So this make no sence as all. The support from Uplay is a pain in the asss. I have had other problems here on steam, and got help with that.

I am starting to think the support for this game is going to suck majorly. I also have BOTH Anno 1404 games on my end, and have no trouble with them at all. So why this one game???? I really dont know. I did not even play it much. I bought it, activated it on my UPLAY account, game worked fine. Played a hour or two, then deinstalled it for later since i had a lot of other games still to finish. After a few months i reinstalled the game, started it and was greeted by the game asking me for the serial key at the title screen. I entered the key and the game told me 'this key is already in use by another Uplay account'.

Sometimes support staff need to be reminded that their job is to help you and not just to to close your ticket as quickly as possible. Have you tried telling them in very plain language that their response is not acceptable, that if they are unable to provide help, then the matter needs to be escalated and a resolution found? Your regular ticket monkey might not be able to help, but their manager might be more willing to acknowlege that not being able to play a game you paid, for due to their bug at their end, isnt acceptable.

Is it a tages issue? Have you changed your hardware since you first registered it?
