So I have decided to try my hand at modding The Forest again! Actully its running perfect, but i wanted to see how it will run with all max graphics enabled even if we can increase grass and draw distance even further, i noticed the shadow draw distance is low to. I got a gtx 680 water cooled wanted to test its limits:) always want to see how pretty this came can look. Andrew pointed me to regedit to edit the configs from there but i dont know what is the max values and noticed some dont have values so i got confused. Just an idea for the extreme users. What saddens me is that the community is adressing the fixes faster than the devs. Your mod makes perfect sense when you've played the game.

IMHO, email the devs and ask them the put your mod in the final release, or at least tweak it to their likings. Not only does it save them time, but it balances things out and makes the game more playable for everyone else. Worst comes to worst, they say no and this ends up being something like DSFix. Though, something I need to add is that the way that cannibals are handling things atm might be just a test run; just essentially to make sure that the cannibals even /work/. I wouldn't be at all shocked if the next 3 updates completely trash this mod.

Also, I haven't really 'fixed' anything just tweaked. Tweaking like this, generally comes at the end of the development when all the aspects are in the game.
