Product Name: PTEdit for Windows: Company:. How to Fix PTEDIT32.EXE Error? Download Auto PTEDIT32.EXE Errors Fix Tool. These are PowerQuest's PartitionInfo (a Partition Information Extraction Utility) and PTEdit. Partition Table Editor – PTEDIT. Ptedit is a Free Portable Partition Table Editor created by Powerquest (Symantec). Unfortunately, I can't get PTEDIT32 to work as it always gives 'Error #5 when starting PowerQuest Engine' when I try to run it in Windows.

Probably, Partition Magic (v4.0) messed it up (I had a dual boot Win98/WinNT and the partitions were FAT32 or NTFS). Now, Partition Magic only says that partition table is bad. I ran across the software called Partition Table Doctor and I plan to get it soon unless there are some better software. I would like to start with the best so that I do not make the problem any worse.
Do you know of any good software to fix partition table reliably?
